I'd do the work yourself. If you take it back to the same mechanic who put tubless tires on spoked wheels, he'll either screw it up again or he'll try to cover his past mistake. In case you didn't know, you CAN use tires marked "tubeless", but you have to use a tube in them. There are other options also: new wheels (normally if they have spokes, you must have tubes), or I've heard that there is a company that "converts" spoked wheels to tubeless (my guess is by somehow sealing/welding the spoke nipples) at a significantly less expense than new wheels... trouble is I can't remember who they are!!!!!!
